As an online platform for cosmetic surgery consultations, Zwivel enables potential patients to connect with cosmetic physicians in the USA and get the information they need before coming in for a full consultation. They can research and get in touch with the doctors or send them their photos or videos to discuss certain procedures. This way the patients can get the necessary information (including the budget and concerns).

This platform is also a unique knowledge-sharing community where its users can research invasive and noninvasive procedures by reading comprehensive cosmetic procedure guides and articles. Patients can also join the Zwivel community and make inquires about certain procedures or share their experience.

The job of the Vivify Ideas team was to develop and maintain the entire app.

For the backend part, our team used PHP with Laravel framework. Angular was used for the frontend part. For some parts of the app, Angular2 was used as well. The teams opted to use this technology stack because they already had a positive experience with using them.

The entire platform is HIPAA compliant. HIPAA stands for Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act that provides data privacy and security provisions for safeguarding medical information. Since both the doctors and the potential patients share individually identifiable health information, our team was determined to create a secure platform that will be fully HIPAA compliant.

The team that has worked on this projects consisted of several developers, depending on the stage of the product lifecycle. The number of team members varied from two to eleven developers.
